Worship is telling God Who He Is
(Character), praise is telling God what He does (deeds). So a worship song or
praise song has nothing to do with the tempo of the song but the nature of it.
I heard once, someone sang quickly and everyone was dancing to it (they
classified it as praise) then he sang the song once again at a slow tempo and
they classified it as worship. When they say worship God, they say "tell
Him Who is" (Lord your Holy, God is good all the time, Your Love, enduring
etc.) that's worship. Then when they say praise Him, they asking you to tell
Him what He has done, doing or about to do (You took me from shame and gave me
a noble name, You said let the be light and there was, before the foundations
of the earth You are, after the passing away of the earth and heaven still You
will be.) #Questions & ReasonSunday, 12 July 2015
